   Bottom line, if you're on a Mac, you have the best consumer editing software for free, or you can buy the best pro editing software for a VERY cheap price. On Linux, all solutions are free, but aren't as user-friendly. On Windows, there are some free apps too, that will probably be a bit more user-friendly than Linux software.

   • I'm fairly certain that if I had a Mac, all in my life would be lovely. At least that is the thought that some of my friends keep trying to instill in me. I just haven't been able to fathom dropping that kind of money right now. Maybe eventually.
